Los Angeles is getting its first-ever Armenian food festival. On Sunday, November 1, 2026, Menu AM and GiniFest are bringing the inaugural Armenian Food Festival to Glendale, in partnership with ArmenianArts and Orders.co.
From noon until 9 PM, 222 N. Orange St. will be filled with Armenian food, Armenian wines, live music, and traditional dancing. It’s a full day built around the things Armenian families have always gathered for: good food, good company, and a reason to stay a little longer.
GiniFest has hosted Armenian wine and spirits festivals before. This one is new. For the first time in Los Angeles, Armenian food gets a festival of its own, and everyone is invited.
Armenian Food, Wine, Music, and Traditions in One Place
The food comes first. Armenian cooking has brought families together for generations, and this festival is a chance to celebrate those culinary traditions in one place.
Then there’s the wine. Armenia’s winemaking roots go back thousands of years, and the festival brings that tradition to Glendale for the day.
Live music keeps the energy going into the evening, and traditional dancing turns the celebration into something you feel as much as watch.
And then there’s the simplest part: spending the day together, meeting new people, and introducing someone to Armenian heritage.
Whether you grew up with Armenian food or you’re just discovering it, this Armenian food festival in Glendale is for you. Part Armenian food and wine festival, part community celebration, it’s one of the Armenian events in Glendale worth putting on your calendar.
Celebrating the Culture and the People Behind the Food
For Armenian families, food has always been about more than the meal. It’s how guests are welcomed, how holidays are marked, and how memories get passed down. A single dish can carry a grandmother’s recipe, a hometown, and a story that crossed an ocean. That’s what makes this as much an Armenian cultural festival as a food festival.
In Los Angeles, Armenian culture lives in the restaurants, bakeries, and family-owned food businesses that keep those traditions going and share them with new neighbors. Behind each one is someone who took a risk, worked long hours, and built something worth sharing.
Every great restaurant has a story behind it. Sharing those stories is exactly what Menu AM was created to do.
Meet Menu AM: Real Restaurant Owners, Real Stories
Menu AM is an Armenian-language podcast powered by Orders.co, and one of the two organizers behind the festival. It gives restaurant owners and food entrepreneurs a platform to talk openly about what it takes to build a business.
The conversations go well beyond the highlight reel. Guests talk about:
- How their journey started
- The challenges of building a business from the ground up
- Mistakes, unexpected obstacles, and the lessons that came with them
- The day-to-day realities of running a restaurant
- Advice for anyone who wants to follow in their footsteps
It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the people who build the restaurants and food businesses we know and love. Like the festival, it celebrates the people, stories, and communities behind the food.
Menu EN Has Just Launched: Bringing Restaurant Stories to an English-Speaking Audience
Menu EN has just launched, with its own conversations held in English and the same mission at its core: authentic restaurant-owner stories and practical industry insight.
Like Menu AM, Menu EN is powered by Orders.co. Both shows dig into entrepreneurial journeys, real business struggles, hard-won lessons, and personal experiences.
If you’re an aspiring restaurant owner, a seasoned operator, or just curious about the people behind your favorite places to eat, both podcasts are worth a listen.
Why Orders.co Is Proud to Be Part of This Celebration
Orders.co powers Menu AM and Menu EN, and we’re proud to partner on the first-ever Armenian Food Festival. We work with independent restaurants every day, and we know a restaurant is rarely just a business. It’s often an extension of family traditions, cultural identity, and the community it serves. Supporting storytelling and community events like this one is how we show up for the people behind the restaurant industry.
